DAY01
Delhi / Dehradun to Haridwar — Ganga Snan & Evening Aarti
Depart Delhi by cab (approx. 4-5 hrs) or meet directly in Dehradun / Haridwar. Check in at your Ganga-side stay. In the late afternoon, make your way to Har Ki Pauri — the most sacred ghat in Haridwar, where the Ganges descends from the mountains onto the plains. Take a ritual dip (Ganga Snan) in the holy waters. As dusk falls, attend the legendary Haridwar Ganga Aarti — a blazing ceremony of fire, bells, and devotion that has drawn pilgrims for centuries. Haridwar to Rishikesh —Sacred Ashrams & Evening Ganga Aarti
After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh (approx. 45 mins). Begin with a guided visit to Parmarth Niketan — one of the largest ashrams on the banks of the Ganges, known for its stunning Ganga ghats and the evening aarti. Continue to Gita Bhawan for a quiet visit, then explore the Beatles Ashram (Chaurasi Kutia / Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram) — the iconic site where The Beatles stayed in 1968, now a fascinating fusion of nature, art, and spiritual history. Vashishtha Cave, Arundhati Cave & Neelkanth Temple
Morning drive to Vashishtha Cave — a powerful meditation site set in a forest above the Ganges, said to be where the ancient sage Vashishtha meditated. Nearby is the smaller Arundhati Cave, named after his consort. Sit in silence in these caves and absorb the stillness that has attracted yogis and seekers for millennia. Optional afternoon excursion to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple — a beautiful Shiva temple perched at 1,675m in the Himalayan foothills (approx. 1.5 hrs from Rishikesh, involves some steep road). Those who prefer a gentler day can spend the afternoon by the Ganges or in personal meditation. Evening at leisure.

Morning Ganga Visit and Shopping. Afternoon Return to Delhi / Dehradun
One final morning on the banks of the Ganges — sunrise meditation, a quiet walk along the ghats, or a last dip in the sacred waters. After breakfast, browse the vibrant spiritual markets of Rishikesh — known for high-quality rudraksha malas, Ayurvedic herbs, spiritual books, and handwoven textiles.
