Meet the People Behind India Sattvik Trails
Kshama Dhir ‐ Founder and Spiritual Journey Curator
Over nearly a decade of solo travel, Kshama has personally visited major spiritual and sacred sites across India — from the Himalayan shrines of Uttarakhand and the ghats of Varanasi to the temples of Vrindavan, from the ashrams of Rishikesh to the beaches of Puducherry. Every destination India Sattvik Trails offers is one she has walked herself, more than once, across different seasons and states of mind. A personally vetted map of stays that are safe, clean, and sattvik; experiences at each site that carry genuine historical and spiritual weight; and an understanding of how to move through these places with care rather than haste.
As a certified yoga trainer — RYT 200 — Kshama brings more than local knowledge to each itinerary. She understands the traditions and lineages that give these places their meaning, and designs each journey so that travellers have the space to actually feel where they are.
The turning point came gradually. She began sharing her itineraries with friends who were travelling to these places for the first time — and with women who were drawn to solo travel but unsure how to navigate India safely. The response was consistent: this is exactly what I needed and couldn't find anywhere else. India Sattvik Trails is the natural evolution of that — her personal map, now available to international seekers who want to experience India the way she discovered it.
Vipul Jain ‐ Co‐Founder and Fellow Traveller
Vipul is a traveller first. He has journeyed alongside Kshama to many of the sacred sites at the heart of these circuits — Haridwar, Vrindavan, the Himalayan routes — and brings to the company what years of exploration across India's terrain naturally builds: an instinct for logistics, a network of trusted ground connections, and a deep familiarity with how India actually moves.
His particular passion for food trails means that the culinary dimension of every journey is never an afterthought. The wholesome, locally sourced sattvik meals that define the India Sattvik Trails experience reflect Vipul's belief that eating well and eating purely is as much a part of sacred travel as the temples themselves.
For Vipul, every journey is also a chance to go deeper into the India he has spent years exploring — one local meal, one back road, one unexpected conversation at a time.
Our Collective Promise
We don't send you on a tour — we take you on a journey we have lived ourselves. Every route is personally vetted. Every stay is hand-picked for safety, comfort, and sattvik values. Every meal is pure vegetarian and locally sourced. And at every step, one of us is with you or reachable.
We built this particularly with women travellers and first-time visitors in mind — and with international travellers who want the richness of India's spiritual heritage without navigating its complexity alone. We handle the logistics of the world so you can focus entirely on why you came.
Not sure which journey is right for you? Tell us a little about what you're looking for — we'll suggest the circuit that fits best.
